Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our educational team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of a variety of educational and recreational activities aimed at enhancing the overall learning experience for students. This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about education and has a strong ability to engage with children and young adults in a positive and constructive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the planning and implementation of extracurricular activities, events, and programs that promote student engagement and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to design activities that align with curriculum objectives and enhance students' learning experiences.
- Organize and facilitate workshops, sports events, art and craft sessions, and other recreational activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for activities; ensure materials are organized, accessible, and in good condition.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during activities.
- Provide support to students during activities, encouraging participation, teamwork, and positive interaction among peers.
- Assist in the evaluation of programs and activities, gathering feedback from students, parents, and staff to improve future offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation in activities, and assist in reporting on outcomes and achievements.
- Support communication efforts by promoting activities through newsletters, social media, and other channels to encourage student involvement.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisors or educational leaders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Recreation, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an educational setting or related role, with a focus on organizing activities or events.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Proven organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and innovative activities.
- Familiarity with child safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
