Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Actuarial Assistant to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will support our actuarial functions by analyzing data, assisting in pricing strategies, and contributing to the overall strategy of our product offerings. Key Responsibilities:

- Data Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to pharmaceutical products, market trends, and financial performance to support actuarial modeling and decision-making.
- Pricing Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing models for pharmaceutical products, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Participate in the evaluation of risks associated with new products, including conducting sensitivity analyses and scenario testing.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommendations based on actuarial analyses.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and product development, to provide actuarial insights that inform business strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support the team in ensuring compliance with local and international regulations related to pharmaceutical pricing and reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of actuarial processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in actuarial analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in actuarial software and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R, Excel).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

- Completion of or progress towards professional actuarial qualifications (e.g., SOA, CAS, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
