Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Art Teacher to join our innovative team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual arts and a commitment to fostering artistic expression and creativity among students. This role is particularly unique, as it will involve integrating art education within the context of the pharmaceuticals industry, encouraging students to explore the intersection of art and science.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with educational standards and integrates themes relevant to the pharmaceuticals sector.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and artistic exploration.
- Teach various artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media, focusing on both traditional and contemporary techniques.
- Collaborate with other educators to create interdisciplinary projects that highlight the role of art in scientific innovation and communication.
- Organize and oversee art exhibitions, workshops, and competitions that showcase student work and promote community engagement.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their artwork and help them develop their artistic skills and confidence.
- Stay updated with current trends in art education and practices, and incorporate new methodologies into the curriculum.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and resources that support the art program and its objectives.
- Foster relationships with local artists, art organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry to enrich the educational experience and provide real-world connections for students.
- Encourage students to explore the ethical and cultural implications of art within the context of health and science.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in an art-related field, preferably within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceuticals sector is advantageous but not required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various artistic techniques and styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency in technology and digital art tools relevant to modern art education.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
