Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Asphalt Laborer to join our team in Sharjah. This position is crucial for the effective execution of asphalt paving projects and related activities within our Information Technology infrastructure development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in asphalt laying, maintenance, and repair, alongside a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and installation of asphalt for various projects, including roads, parking lots, and pathways.
- Operate and maintain various asphalt machinery and tools, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
- Prepare the worksite by cleaning and leveling the area to be paved, ensuring proper drainage and alignment.
- Mix asphalt materials according to specifications and assist in the transportation of materials to the job site.
- Perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials, digging, and spreading asphalt.
- Monitor weather conditions and make adjustments to work plans to ensure optimal paving conditions.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist in the inspection and maintenance of completed asphalt surfaces, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge related to asphalt work.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in asphalt labor or a related field.
- Knowledge of asphalt materials, mixing, and laying techniques.
- Familiarity with construction and safety regulations in the UAE.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
