We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Auditor in the energy industry in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and auditing procedures, as well as a passion for the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, focusing on controls and compliance within the energy industry
- Conduct testing of financial and operational controls and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare audit work papers and reports documenting findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with senior auditors and management to implement audit plans and address any issues that arise
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with all relevant standards
- Assist in the development of audit strategies and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIA) is a plus
- [X] years of experience in auditing, preferably in the energy industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and audit software
