Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Athletic Recruiter to join our team in Dubai, specializing in the recruitment of talented athletes for educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, a strong understanding of the education system, and the ability to connect with high school athletes, coaches, and educational administrators. This role is critical in helping students transition from high school to collegiate sports, ensuring they have the opportunities they deserve to excel both academically and athletically.

Key Responsibilities:

- Talent Identification: Actively scout and identify potential student-athletes across various sports disciplines, attending events, tournaments, and showcases to evaluate talent.

- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with high school coaches, athletic directors, and sports organizations to establish a robust pipeline of talent.

- Recruitment Strategy: Create and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to different sports and educational institutions. Collaborate with coaches and academic advisors to align athlete capabilities with institutional needs.

- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective student-athletes and their families. Provide guidance on the recruitment process, scholarship opportunities, and academic requirements.

- Networking: Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and events to network with key stakeholders in the education and sports sectors.

- Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities, athlete profiles, and communication logs in a centralized database.

- Marketing: Assist in the development of marketing materials and campaigns to promote athletic programs and attract prospective student-athletes.

- Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines established by educational institutions and sports governing bodies.

- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to management on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in athletic recruitment or sports management, with a focus on educational institutions.
- Strong knowledge of NCAA regulations and recruitment processes (or equivalent local governing body).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with athletes, coaches, and educational staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment management software.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
