Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Blacksmith Helper to join our team in the healthcare sector in Dubai. This position is essential for supporting the production and maintenance of medical equipment and tools that adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for craftsmanship in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Blacksmith in the forging, shaping, and finishing of metal parts and components used in medical equipment and devices.
- Help in the preparation of materials by cutting, grinding, and polishing metals to ensure the highest quality standards.
- Operate and maintain blacksmithing tools and machinery, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Support the team in inventory management, including tracking materials and supplies needed for ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and healthcare professionals to understand the specific requirements of medical tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines in the workshop to prevent injuries and accidents.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of blacksmithing techniques and healthcare applications.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metalworking or related fields is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a blacksmithing or metalworking role, preferably in a healthcare or industrial setting.
- Basic knowledge of blacksmithing techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in a workshop environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a workshop environment with exposure to heat and noise.
