Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our channel operations within the energy sector. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of channel management, sales strategies, and operational excellence. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to enhance our channel partnerships and drive growth in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Channel Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement channel strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify potential channel partners and assess their capabilities to ensure alignment with our operational standards.

2. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners to drive collaboration and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Conduct regular meetings and reviews with channel partners to discuss performance, challenges, and growth strategies.

3. Performance Monitoring:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of channel partners, utilizing data-driven insights to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure channel effectiveness and operational efficiency.

4. Operational Excellence:
- Streamline channel operations to enhance productivity and reduce inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of channel strategies.

5. Training and Development:
- Develop training programs for channel partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Provide ongoing support and resources to channel partners to help them achieve their sales targets.

6. Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and technological advancements in the energy sector that may impact channel operations.

7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on channel performance, forecasts, and strategy effectiveness to senior management.
- Use analytical tools to assess sales data and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in channel operations, sales management, or a related field, preferably within the energy sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing channel partnerships and driving sales growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
