Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Community Outreach Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Dubai's construction sector. This pivotal role will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and organizations to promote our projects and ensure community needs are addressed. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement and have a solid understanding of the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage local communities positively and meaningfully.
- Organize community meetings, workshops, and events to gather feedback and foster collaboration.
- Act as a liaison between the company and community stakeholders, addressing concerns and promoting project benefits.

2. Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that community feedback is integrated into project planning and execution.

3. Communication:
- Create informative materials, such as newsletters, brochures, and presentations, to communicate project goals and updates to the community.
- Utilize social media and other digital platforms to promote community engagement initiatives and share project developments.

4. Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor community sentiment and engagement levels, using surveys and feedback tools to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
- Prepare regular reports on outreach activities, community feedback, and recommendations for improvement.

5. Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies regarding community outreach and engagement.
- Stay informed of best practices in community engagement and construction industry trends to enhance outreach strategies.

6. Training and Capacity Building:
- Conduct training sessions for internal teams on community engagement practices and the importance of stakeholder relations.
- Empower community members through workshops and programs that build capacity and foster local development.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in community outreach, public relations, or stakeholder engagement, preferably within the construction or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and community relations.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and its impact on local communities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to engage communities effectively.
