Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Relations Manager to join our team in the agriculture sector. This role is pivotal in fostering positive relationships between our organization and the local community, stakeholders, and agricultural partners in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of community engagement strategies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Community Engagement:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to enhance the organization's presence and reputation within Sharjah.
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and support for agricultural initiatives.
- Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and outreach programs to raise awareness about the organization’s objectives and agricultural practices.

2. Communication and Public Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for community inquiries and concerns, responding promptly and effectively.
- Prepare and distribute informational materials, press releases, and newsletters to keep the community informed about ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote community events and initiatives through various channels, including social media, local media outlets, and newsletters.

3. Project Management:
- Oversee community-based projects and initiatives that align with the organization’s goals, ensuring they are executed effectively and within budget.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of community programs and initiatives, providing regular reports and feedback to senior management.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with government agencies, NGOs, and agricultural organizations to promote partnerships that benefit the community and enhance agricultural practices.
- Represent the organization at community meetings, conferences, and other public events, advocating for agricultural sustainability and community development.

5. Cultural Awareness:
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of local customs, traditions, and community dynamics to effectively engage with diverse groups within Sharjah.
- Promote cultural sensitivity and inclusivity in all community relations efforts.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, agriculture, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in community relations, public relations, or a similar role, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with diverse community stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic are highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and other digital communication tools to engage with the community.
