Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Compliance Operations Manager to oversee and enhance our compliance operations within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies while driving a culture of compliance across the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Compliance Strategy Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework tailored to the manufacturing industry, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.
- Develop and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices.

2. Risk Assessment and Monitoring:
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments to identify areas of potential exposure and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and regulations, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken when necessary.

3. Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels to foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior.
- Prepare educational materials and resources to ensure staff are informed about compliance obligations and updates.

4. Audit and Reporting:
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits to assess compliance with policies and regulations, preparing comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders, highlighting key compliance metrics and trends.

5. Regulatory Liaison:
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring timely responses to inquiries and inspections.
- Stay abreast of changes in local, regional, and international regulations affecting the manufacturing industry, ensuring timely updates to internal policies and practices.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments, including Operations, HR, and Legal, to ensure integrated compliance efforts across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure compliance considerations are incorporated into business processes and decision-making.

7. Incident Management:
- Investigate compliance breaches or concerns, conducting root-cause analysis and developing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain a log of compliance-related incidents and manage the reporting process to senior management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CAMS, CCEP) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 8 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry in the UAE.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs and conducting audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.
