Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Operations Program Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our data operations within the agriculture sector, driving innovation, and ensuring the effective use of data to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement data management strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency in agriculture.
- Identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making in agricultural processes, including crop management, supply chain, and market analysis.

2. Project Management:
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver data operations projects on time and within budget.
- Create project plans, define scopes, set timelines, and manage resources effectively to ensure successful project execution.

3. Data Governance:
- Establish data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor data usage and implement controls to protect sensitive agricultural data.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, marketing, and operations, to identify data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including farmers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to enhance data-driven practices in agriculture.

5. Data Analytics and Reporting:
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and visualization of agricultural data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and support decision-making.

6. Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop a high-performing data operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and career development opportunities.

7. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in agriculture and data management.
- Propose and implement process improvements to enhance data operations efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in data operations, program management, or a related field, preferably within the agriculture sector.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, data analytics, and the role of technology in modern farming.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
