Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Contractor to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality standards, compliance with regulations, and project timelines are met. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for construction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and final delivery. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.

- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective practices. Provide regular updates on budget status to stakeholders.

- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets the required standards and complies with local building codes and regulations.

- Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction. Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or unforeseen delays.

- Safety Management: Promote a culture of safety on job sites, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and training.

- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain strong relationships to foster trust and repeat business.

- Permits and Regulations: Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained prior to commencing work. Stay updated on local construction laws and regulations.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor construction staff and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.

- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction, collaborating with stakeholders to find effective solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in general contracting or construction management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and legal regulations in Dubai.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
