Job Overview:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Green Building Consultant to join our dynamic team in Dubai, focusing on the Transportation and Logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in sustainable building practices, energy efficiency, and environmental regulations, with a proven track record in delivering green building projects that meet international standards. As a Green Building Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting sustainable development and ensuring that our projects adhere to eco-friendly practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sustainable Design Consultation:
- Provide expert advice on sustainable building practices, materials, and technologies specific to transportation and logistics facilities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate green building principles into the design and construction phases.

2. LEED and Green Building Certifications:
- Guide clients through the certification process for various green building standards, including LEED, BREEAM, and Estidama.
- Prepare documentation and reports necessary for certification submissions and ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines.

3. Energy Efficiency Analysis:
- Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements in transportation and logistics facilities.
- Recommend strategies for optimizing energy consumption and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay updated on local, regional, and international environmental regulations related to building construction and operation.
- Ensure that all projects comply with relevant laws and standards, including Dubai’s Green Building Regulations.

5. Training and Awareness:
- Develop and deliver training programs for clients, staff, and stakeholders on sustainable practices and the importance of green building.
- Promote awareness of sustainability initiatives within the transportation and logistics sector.

6. Project Management:
- Oversee the implementation of green building strategies throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to final construction.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines while ensuring adherence to sustainability goals.

7. Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with government agencies, industry organizations, and community stakeholders to promote sustainable building practices and secure support for green initiatives.
- Participate in workshops, conferences, and industry events to represent the organization and foster partnerships.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in green building consulting, preferably within the transportation and logistics sector.
- Certification in green building practices (e.g., LEED AP, BREEAM Assessor) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles, energy efficiency technologies, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., energy modeling software, CAD, BIM).
