Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hairstylist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Ras Al Khaimah. This unique position lies within the Aerospace and Defense sector, where the role of personal grooming and presentation is paramount. As a Hairstylist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the image of our clients and employees, ensuring they present their best selves in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior hairstylists in providing high-quality hair services, including washing, cutting, coloring, and styling hair.
- Prepare workstations by sanitizing tools and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering appropriate styling solutions.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked inventory of hair products and tools, ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available.
- Help in scheduling appointments and managing the daily calendar to optimize the hairstyling services.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in hairstyling techniques and products, and participate in training sessions as required.
- Assist in promotional events and activities aimed at enhancing personal grooming awareness within the organization.
- Provide support during special events and functions, ensuring that all clients are styled to meet the professional standards of the Aerospace and Defense industry.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a cosmetology program is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hairstylist assistant role or similar position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various hair types and the appropriate styling techniques for each.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for special events or appointments.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cosmetology practices.
