Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Innovation Project Manager to join our retail team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives, managing project lifecycles from conception to execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our retail offerings. The Innovation Project Manager will play a crucial role in identifying market trends, developing unique solutions, and ensuring successful implementation that aligns with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple innovation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Utilize project management methodologies to track progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis and research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Utilize findings to inform project direction and product development.

- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments including marketing, operations, IT, and finance to ensure alignment and support for innovation initiatives. Foster a collaborative team environment to encourage creative problem-solving.

- Idea Generation: Organize brainstorming sessions and workshops to generate innovative ideas that align with customer expectations and business goals. Evaluate the feasibility and potential impact of new concepts.

- Prototyping and Testing: Oversee the development of prototypes and pilot programs. Coordinate testing phases to gather feedback and insights, refining concepts based on user input and performance data.

- Stakeholder Management: Present project proposals, progress reports, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenditures and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.

- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with innovation projects. Proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

- Performance Evaluation: Analyze project results against established success metrics. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for future initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on innovation or product development within the retail sector.

- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to execution.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
