Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Auditor to join our dynamic team in Dubai, specializing in the Transportation and Logistics sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our IT systems and data. They will be responsible for evaluating and improving our IT governance, risk management, and internal controls to safeguard our organization against cyber threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Audit Planning: Develop and execute IT audit plans based on risk assessments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate IT risks and controls related to systems, processes, and data management in the Transportation and Logistics domain.

- Compliance Reviews: Ensure that IT systems comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.), and conduct regular assessments of compliance frameworks.

- Control Testing: Perform testing of IT controls, including access controls, change management, incident management, and data integrity, to ensure robust operational effectiveness.

- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans for management and stakeholders, facilitating effective decision-making.

- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, operations, and compliance teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and promote a culture of compliance and security awareness.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT auditing, and recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness of IT governance and controls.

- Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of IT risks and promote best practices among employees in the Transportation and Logistics sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or equivalent are preferred.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or a related field, ideally within the Transportation and Logistics industry.

- Strong understanding of IT frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, NIST).

- Proven experience in risk assessment, audit methodologies, and compliance frameworks.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and present findings clearly and concisely.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across various departments and levels of management.

- Proficiency in using audit software tools and techniques for data analysis and reporting.
