Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Milling Machine Operator Assistant to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the milling machine operators in various tasks associated with the setup, operation, and maintenance of milling machines. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Milling Machine Operator in setting up and operating milling machines according to specifications.
- Prepare and load raw materials into the milling machines while ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of milling machines and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that may arise during the milling process.
- Document production data, including quantities produced, machine performance, and any discrepancies.
- Assist in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or manufacturing is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Milling Machine Operator Assistant or in a similar role.
- Basic understanding of milling machine operations and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with various types of milling machines and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 25 kg).
- Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination necessary for operating machinery.
