Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Political Scientist to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the transportation and logistics sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of political systems, public policy, and the socio-economic factors that influence transportation and logistics. This role will involve conducting research, analyzing policies, and providing strategic recommendations that align with our organizational objectives in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on political trends, public policies, and regulatory frameworks related to transportation and logistics in the UAE and the broader Middle East region.
- Analyze the impact of local, national, and international political dynamics on transportation and logistics operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop policy briefs and strategic reports that inform decision-making processes.
- Engage with governmental agencies, industry stakeholders, and NGOs to facilitate dialogue and promote best practices in transportation and logistics.
- Monitor and evaluate the implications of legislative changes and political events on the transportation sector.
- Prepare and deliver presentations that effectively communicate research findings and policy recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Contribute to the development of advocacy strategies aimed at influencing transportation policy at various governmental levels.
- Stay informed about global transportation and logistics trends and their potential political implications in the UAE.
- Assist in organizing workshops, conferences, and seminars to promote discussions surrounding transportation policies and practices.
- Mentor and support junior researchers and analysts in the team.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in political analysis, public policy development, or a related field, preferably in the context of transportation and logistics.
- Strong understanding of the political landscape in the UAE and the Middle East region, particularly in relation to infrastructure development and logistics.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex political data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, data analysis software, and presentation tools.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
