Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiology Aide to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting radiology operations, ensuring the efficient and safe management of imaging services within our state-of-the-art facility. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare and advanced technology in a high-stakes industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist radiologists and imaging technologists in performing various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring they are comfortable and properly positioned.
- Maintain and organize radiology equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean, functional, and readily available for use.
- Assist in the management of patient records and imaging data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Support the workflow in the radiology department by scheduling appointments, coordinating patient flow, and managing administrative tasks.
- Ensure the radiology area is clean and orderly, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
- Participate in quality assurance and safety programs, assisting in maintaining compliance with local and international health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience and effective communication regarding patient care and imaging needs.
- Engage in continuous education and training to stay updated with advancements in radiology practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare or radiology preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a radiology or healthcare support role, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
- Familiarity with radiology equipment and imaging technologies is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and radiology protocols is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and maintaining patient records.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Working Conditions:

- The position may require standing for long periods and assisting patients with mobility.
- Exposure to radiation and various imaging equipment necessitates strict adherence to safety protocols.
- The work environment may involve high-pressure situations, especially in emergency imaging scenarios.
