Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Auditor to join our team in Al Ain, focusing on the education sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of auditing principles, particularly in educational institutions, and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing the overall financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies in educational institutions.
- Prepare detailed audit plans and programs, ensuring that all areas of risk are adequately addressed and documented.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures on financial data to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management and stakeholders to discuss findings, provide insights, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ensure adherence to auditing standards and guidelines, including International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulations.
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management review.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices in the education sector to ensure compliance and effectiveness of audits.
- Mentor and train junior auditors, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the overall growth and improvement of the auditing function.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, CIA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant audit experience, specifically within the education sector or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance auditing.
- Proficient in using auditing software and tools, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
