Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to oversee and drive technology-related projects within our Transportation and Logistics division based in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and meet quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities and a strong background in IT project management, particularly in the logistics and transportation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, clients, and team members, to ensure project alignment with business goals.
- Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing project team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project execution.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, including forecasts and expenditures, ensuring cost control and reporting variances as necessary.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to guarantee high standards in project deliverables.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliverables.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance project management methodologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, specifically within the transportation and logistics industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale IT projects, from conception through implementation.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
