Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Dubai's vibrant financial services sector. Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide advanced technical support for financial hardware and software systems, including ATMs, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to service outages, system malfunctions, and connectivity problems.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
2. System Maintenance and Upgrades:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for critical systems to minimize downtime and enhance service reliability.
3. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, incidents, and resolutions using the company’s ticketing system.
- Generate detailed reports on system performance, recurring issues, and maintenance activities for management review.
4. Customer Interaction:
- Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and technical support, providing timely and professional assistance.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that all service activities comply with regulatory requirements and corporate policies, particularly regarding data protection and security.
- Assist in the implementation of security measures to protect financial systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
6. Project Participation:
- Participate in the planning and execution of new system implementations and upgrades, providing technical input and support during project phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support or service technician roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, hardware, and software, including familiarity with banking technologies.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
