Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Solar Energy Specialist to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is crucial in integrating solar energy solutions within our pharmaceutical operations, aiming to enhance our sustainability initiatives and reduce our carbon footprint. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in solar energy systems, project management, and a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's energy needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Solar Energy Strategy Development: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive solar energy strategies tailored for our pharmaceutical facilities, with the goal of optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability.

- Project Management: Lead solar energy projects from conception through execution, including feasibility studies, system design, vendor selection, and installation oversight.

- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on the integration and maintenance of solar energy systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations specific to the pharmaceutical sector.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sustainability departments, to align solar initiatives with corporate sustainability goals.

- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on local regulations and incentives related to solar energy and pharmaceuticals, ensuring that all projects adhere to legal and safety requirements.

- Performance Monitoring: Establish and manage performance metrics for solar energy systems, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.

- Training and Education: Develop training programs for staff on the benefits and operations of solar energy systems, fostering a culture of sustainability within the organization.

- Market Research: Monitor industry trends and advancements in solar technology, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement in our energy strategies.

- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on project progress, energy savings, and recommended improvements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in solar energy project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of solar technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
- Experience with energy auditing, system design, and project financing related to solar initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for energy modeling and project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional certification in solar energy systems or renewable energy management.
- Experience with energy policy and regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and energy requirements.
