Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Urban Forester Assistant in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of Urban Foresters to manage and maintain the urban forest in the city. This position will primarily focus on the telecommunications sector, ensuring that trees and green spaces are properly maintained around telecommunication infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planning and implementation of urban forestry projects in Abu Dhabi
- Conduct tree inventories and assessments around telecommunication sites
- Monitor and maintain the health of trees near telecommunication infrastructure
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Assist with the development of urban forestry management plans
- Provide support for community outreach and education initiatives related to urban forestry
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Urban Forester team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in urban forestry or related field
- Knowledge of tree species, planting techniques, and arboricultural practices
- Experience working in the telecommunications industry is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
