Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Pathologist to join our dynamic team in the real estate sector in Dubai. This unique position combines veterinary pathology expertise with a focus on animal welfare and environmental considerations in real estate development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed examinations and analyses of animal tissues and fluids to diagnose diseases and conditions that may impact animal welfare in urban environments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and environmental consultants to assess the impact of real estate projects on local wildlife and domestic animals.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on animal health considerations in the planning and execution of real estate projects, including habitat preservation and wildlife management.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at understanding the effects of urbanization on animal health and disease patterns.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, ensuring that all findings and recommendations are clearly communicated.
- Engage with local authorities and animal welfare organizations to ensure compliance with animal health regulations and promote best practices in animal care.
- Stay updated on advances in veterinary pathology and urban wildlife management, integrating new knowledge into practice.
- Mentor and train junior veterinary professionals and interns in pathology techniques and animal welfare considerations.

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree.
- Board certification in veterinary pathology (ACVP or equivalent) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary pathology, with a focus on diagnostic pathology and wildlife health preferred.
- Strong knowledge of urban wildlife management and environmental impacts on animal health.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and technology related to pathology.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to present complex information to varied audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
