We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in the education sector in Dubai. The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, issuing payments, reconciling accounts, and providing support to the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Verify invoice accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payment runs
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any outstanding issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing processes
- Provide support for audits as needed
- Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- [X] years of experience in accounts payable or related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
