We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, specifically in accounts payable, and will be familiar with the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:
- Process invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process payments to vendors through various methods, such as checks and electronic transfers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues or inquiries in a timely manner
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- [Random number] years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
