Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our accounts receivable department within our dynamic Information Technology company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records to support our financial operations. The Accounts Receivable Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure optimal cash flow and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the accounts receivable team to ensure efficient processing of invoices, collections, and reconciliations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the accounts receivable process and enhance cash flow management.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable performance, cash flow forecasts, and collection strategies to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations in all accounts receivable activities.
- Oversee the maintenance of accurate records for all accounts receivable transactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Manage the credit approval process for new customers, assessing credit risk and determining appropriate credit limits.
- Conduct training and development for team members to enhance their skills and improve overall department performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management and financial operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management or a similar financial role, preferably within the Information Technology sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [specific software used by the company, if applicable] is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
