Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various activities within the manufacturing facility, ensuring smooth operations and a productive work environment. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Daily Operations: Assist in the planning and execution of daily activities within the manufacturing facility, including coordinating schedules, meetings, and events.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of activities, schedules, and reports. Organize and file documents systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval.
- Team Coordination: Liaise with various departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration on projects and activities. Facilitate information flow between teams and management.
- Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels of materials and supplies necessary for various activities. Help maintain stock records and report shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Event Planning: Support the organization of team-building events, training sessions, and safety drills. Assist in logistics, catering, and preparation of materials for these activities.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the relevant authorities.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from team members regarding activities and events to help improve future planning and execution.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the management team, including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and performing data entry tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Work Environment:
The Activities Assistant will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials. Candidates should be comfortable working in compliance with health and safety regulations.
