Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addiction Recovery Coach to join our team in the vibrant agricultural sector of Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of addiction recovery processes and will have a passion for helping individuals overcome their challenges and achieve sustainable recovery. This unique role will combine elements of agricultural therapy and traditional recovery coaching to create a holistic approach that promotes wellness through nature, community, and personal empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to individuals struggling with addiction, utilizing evidence-based practices and recovery strategies.
- Develop personalized recovery plans that incorporate agricultural activities, such as gardening, farming, or animal husbandry, as therapeutic tools for healing and personal growth.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions focused on life skills, coping mechanisms, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle within the context of addiction recovery.
- Collaborate with local agricultural organizations, mental health professionals, and support groups to create a network of resources for clients.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting recovery plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Offer emotional support and motivation to clients, encouraging them to set and achieve personal goals related to their recovery and overall well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in addiction recovery and agricultural therapy, integrating new findings into coaching methods.
- Advocate for clients’ needs and rights within the agricultural community and support systems.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Agriculture, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in addiction recovery coaching, counseling, or a related field. Experience in agricultural therapy is highly desirable.
- Certification as an Addiction Recovery Coach or similar credential is preferred.
- Strong understanding of addiction, recovery processes, and the role of holistic practices in healing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and facilitate group dynamics.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to coaching, with a strong commitment to client confidentiality and ethical practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage, given the local context.
