Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Agricultural Inspector to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector in Dubai. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of agricultural products used within the healthcare industry. This position requires a keen understanding of agricultural practices, regulations, and food safety standards, alongside a commitment to promoting public health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and Assessment:
- Conduct thorough inspections of agricultural facilities, farms, and production sites to ensure compliance with local agricultural and health regulations.
- Evaluate the quality and safety of agricultural products, including fruits, vegetables, and other food supplies used in healthcare settings.

2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to local, national, and international agricultural and food safety standards.
- Stay updated on changes to agricultural policies and regulations that may impact healthcare practices.

3. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, recommendations, and any violations of health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, compliance checks, and corrective actions taken.

4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, agricultural producers, and regulatory agencies to promote safe agricultural practices and food safety.
- Educate stakeholders about best practices in agricultural production and the importance of compliance with health regulations.

5. Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for agricultural producers and staff in healthcare settings on safe agricultural practices and food safety protocols.
- Act as a resource for questions related to agricultural inspections and food safety concerns.

6. Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about new agricultural technologies and practices that could enhance food safety and quality.
- Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving agricultural standards within the healthcare sector.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Food Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in agricultural inspection, food safety, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, food safety regulations, and health standards.
- Excellent analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Skills:

- Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

Work Environment:

The Agricultural Inspector will primarily work in various agricultural settings, including farms and production facilities, as well as in office environments for documentation and reporting purposes. The role may require travel within Dubai and its surroundings.
