We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Animal Health Technician to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Animal Health Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and assistance to our customers and their beloved pets. This position is based in a retail setting, where you will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of animals and their owners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting appropriate health products for their pets, including medications, supplements, and grooming supplies
- Provide guidance and advice to customers on pet health and wellness issues
- Perform basic health checks and assessments on animals, including temperature checks, weight measurements, and examination of coat and skin
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
- Assist with grooming services, such as nail trimming and ear cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space, including stocking shelves and cleaning work areas
- Educate customers on responsible pet ownership and preventative care practices
- Handle and restrain animals in a safe and gentle manner
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or degree in veterinary technology or related field preferred
- Minimum of [random number] years of experience working with animals in a retail or veterinary setting
- Strong knowledge of animal health and wellness issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
