Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Arborist to join our team in the Real Estate sector in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care and management, with a focus on enhancing the landscaping of our residential and commercial properties. The Arborist will be responsible for assessing tree health, providing expert advice on tree preservation, and implementing maintenance programs that ensure the longevity and aesthetic appeal of all trees on our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of trees' health and structural integrity, identifying any signs of disease, decay, or pest infestation.
- Develop and implement tree care programs, including pruning, fertilization, and pest management, tailored to the specific needs of each tree species and location.
- Collaborate with landscape architects and property managers to integrate trees into overall landscape designs, ensuring they enhance property value and curb appeal.
- Perform tree removals when necessary, adhering to safety protocols and local regulations.
- Educate property owners and staff on proper tree care practices, including mulching, watering, and seasonal maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of tree care activities, assessments, and maintenance schedules.
- Stay updated on the latest arboricultural techniques, tools, and technologies to improve tree care practices.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and standards regarding tree preservation and management.
- Provide expert advice on the selection of tree species that are suitable for the Abu Dhabi climate and soil conditions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Arboriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in arboriculture, landscape management, or a related field, preferably within the real estate sector.
- International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of tree biology, ecology, and pest management.
- Proficiency in using arboricultural tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions regarding tree care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
