Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Asphalt Laborer Assistant to join our team in Dubai's retail sector. The successful candidate will assist in various asphalt-related tasks, contributing to the efficient and effective completion of projects. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and installation of asphalt materials for different retail projects, including parking lots, driveways, and walkways.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as needed for asphalt laying and finishing operations.
- Operate hand tools and small machinery under the supervision of skilled personnel.
- Prepare surfaces for asphalt application by clearing debris, leveling ground, and ensuring proper drainage.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of tools and materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks and hazards on the job site.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of asphalt materials and application techniques is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in construction is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
