Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Assistant Dean of Agriculture. The Assistant Dean will assist the Dean in overseeing all aspects of the Agriculture department, including academic programs, research initiatives, and student affairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, as well as experience in academic administration.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dean in developing and implementing academic programs in the field of agriculture
- Collaborate with faculty members to ensure high-quality teaching and research activities
- Oversee student recruitment, admissions, and retention efforts within the Agriculture department
- Manage the department budget and resources effectively
- Represent the Agriculture department at various meetings and events
- Assist in developing partnerships with industry stakeholders and government agencies
- Support the Dean in strategic planning and accreditation processes
- Handle any other duties as assigned by the Dean

Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Agriculture or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in academic administration or a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of current trends and issues in the field of agriculture
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Experience in developing and implementing academic programs
- Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards
