Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team in the heart of Dubai’s vibrant telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Food and Beverage Manager in delivering outstanding service and maintaining high standards in our dining establishments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Support: Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate a diverse team of food and beverage staff. Foster a positive work environment to enhance employee engagement and performance.

- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure that all guests have a memorable dining experience.

- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager and chefs to develop and update menus that reflect current trends, dietary requirements, and guest preferences.

- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels to minimize waste and ensure product availability.

- Financial Performance: Assist in monitoring and analyzing financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability. Contribute to budget preparation and cost control measures.

- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all food and beverage operations comply with health and safety standards, including food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

- Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of special events, private functions, and corporate gatherings, ensuring high-quality service and attention to detail.

- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as marketing and procurement) to promote food and beverage offerings and enhance overall guest experiences.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management or supervisory roles within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.

- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, menu development, and inventory management.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

- Knowledge of current trends in the food and beverage industry, including dietary restrictions and sustainability practices.

- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
