We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Merchandise Manager to join our team in Al Ain within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will assist the Merchandise Manager in all aspects of product selection, purchasing, and inventory management to ensure the smooth operation of the retail department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandise Manager in developing and implementing merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and promotions
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to maintain optimal stock levels
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and events
- Train and supervise retail staff to ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall shopping experience
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and performance goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- [X] years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
