Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service delivery and a high-quality dining experience for our guests. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where telecommunications and hospitality intersect.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operational Support: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and in accordance with company standards and policies.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, ensuring high levels of performance, customer service, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Foster a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and achieving financial targets. Oversee daily cash handling and assist with end-of-day financial reconciliation.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and ensure that inventory is stored and handled properly to minimize waste.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager and culinary team to develop and update menu offerings based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Marketing and Promotions: Assist in planning and executing marketing initiatives and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on restaurant performance metrics, including sales trends, customer feedback, and staff performance, to be presented to the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a restaurant management or supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety standards and inventory management.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
