Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Background Investigator Assistant to join our team in Dubai's vibrant healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the background investigation process for potential employees, ensuring that our organization maintains the highest standards of integrity and compliance. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Background Checks: Assist in the execution of pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, employment verification, education verification, and reference checks.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze relevant data from various sources, maintaining meticulous records of findings and ensuring accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR and hiring managers to understand the specific background verification needs for various positions within the healthcare sector.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all background investigation processes comply with local laws and regulations, and prepare detailed reports summarizing investigation results.
- Database Management: Maintain and update background investigation databases, ensuring all information is current and secure.
- Communication: Serve as a point of contact for candidates undergoing background checks, providing them with information about the process and addressing any inquiries they may have.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the background investigation workflow and recommend enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in background investigations, human resources, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of privacy laws and regulations related to employment screening and data protection.
- Proficient in using various investigation tools and software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with international background check processes.
- Certification in background investigation or a related field is a plus.
