Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baker Apprentice to join our innovative bakery team in Dubai. This unique position combines traditional baking techniques with cutting-edge information technology to enhance the baking process and customer experience. As a Baker Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced bakers while also engaging in the integration of technology into our baking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to innovate and develop new products, utilizing IT solutions for product testing and customer feedback analysis.
- Learn and apply food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with local health regulations.
- Use bakery management software to track inventory, manage orders, and streamline production processes.
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
- Support the team in troubleshooting equipment issues, leveraging your IT knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking feedback to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the training of new staff members on both baking techniques and the use of technology in the bakery.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in culinary arts or a related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in a baking or culinary environment preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of information technology and comfort with using software applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A keen interest in baking and a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
