Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Biomedical Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team in the telecommunications sector based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with a keen interest in integrating biomedical technologies into telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a variety of biomedical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

- Installation and Setup: Assist in the installation and configuration of biomedical devices and systems within telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.

- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to biomedical equipment and systems, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

- Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, telecommunication engineers, and IT staff to support the implementation of biomedical technologies in healthcare settings.

- Training: Provide training and support to end-users and staff on the proper use and maintenance of biomedical equipment, ensuring safe and effective operation.

- Research and Development: Stay updated on the latest biomedical technologies and telecommunications advancements, contributing to the continuous improvement of equipment and processes.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all equipment adheres to relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards, participating in audits and inspections as required.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years and maximum of 7 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment, preferably within the telecommunications industry.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in biomedical equipment management, electronic circuitry, and telecommunications systems. Experience with software used for equipment calibration and diagnostics is an advantage.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in biomedical equipment technology or electronics (such as CBET, CCE, or equivalent) are preferred.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting.

- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative attitude.
