We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Biophysicist Assistant to join our agricultural research team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biophysics and a passion for applying their knowledge to improve agricultural practices.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Biophysicist in conducting research and experiments to study the physical processes within living organisms and their interactions with the environment
- Collect and analyze data using a variety of scientific techniques and equipment
- Help develop and implement new methods and technologies to improve crop yield, water management, and overall agricultural sustainability
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate biophysical research into agricultural practices
- Prepare and present research findings to colleagues and stakeholders
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biophysics, Biology, Agriculture, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of biophysical principles and their application in agricultural systems
- Experience with data analysis software and laboratory techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in agricultural research or related field
- Familiarity with the agricultural industry in the UAE
- Knowledge of sustainable farming practices
This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE. The salary and benefits package will be commensurate with experience.
