Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Blacksmith Apprentice to join our Transportation and Logistics team in Dubai. As a Blacksmith Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced blacksmiths to learn the trade and develop your skills in crafting and repairing metal parts for vehicles and transportation equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced blacksmiths in forging, shaping, and welding metal parts
- Learn to use a variety of tools and equipment, such as hammers, tongs, anvils, and welding machines
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Learn to interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate metal parts
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of transportation equipment, such as trucks, trailers, and buses
- Develop skills in heat treating, tempering, and quenching metal for optimal strength and durability
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some basic knowledge or experience in metalworking or welding
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in learning the blacksmith trade
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions effectively
- Good physical condition and stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational training or certification in metalworking or blacksmithing
- Previous experience in a transportation or logistics setting
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a workshop environment
