We are seeking a skilled and experienced Botanical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Dubai. As a Botanical Technician, you will be responsible for cultivating, propagating, and caring for a variety of plant species used in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Propagate plants through various methods such as seed sowing, cutting, and division
- Monitor plant growth and health, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal growth conditions
- Conduct research on plant species and their uses in manufacturing processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of plant breeding programs
- Maintain accurate records of plant growth, health, and propagation methods
- Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Botany, Horticulture, or related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience working in a botanical or horticultural setting
- Strong knowledge of plant biology, propagation methods, and plant care techniques
- Experience working with a variety of plant species, including tropical plants
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
