Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bridge Painter to join our team in Dubai's telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting various bridge structures, ensuring that all work meets safety standards and aesthetic requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, an understanding of painting techniques, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary.
- Apply paint and protective coatings to various bridge structures using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Inspect and assess the condition of existing paint and surfaces to determine necessary maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop work plans and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines while performing painting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Work in various weather conditions and at heights, using appropriate safety gear and equipment.
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff and apprentices.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety and quality within the team.
- Conduct routine maintenance and touch-up painting as needed to preserve the integrity and appearance of bridge structures.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in painting or related fields is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in bridge painting or a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
- Proficient in various painting techniques and the use of painting tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and painting.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong focus on safety.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with industrial coatings and specialized paints.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations related to painting and coatings.
- Basic understanding of bridge engineering and structure maintenance.
- Certification in safety training (e.g., OSHA or equivalent).
