Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Development: Prepare and manage the annual budget for various construction projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and project requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses and variance reporting to monitor project performance against budget forecasts. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to mitigate financial risks.
- Cost Control: Implement and maintain effective cost control processes to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Monitor expenditures and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to develop project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, detailing budget performance and financial forecasts. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor budget analysts and financial staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and forecasting future budget needs based on project pipelines and market trends.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in budget management and financial operations, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
