We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our team in Dubai. The Cabinetmaker Assistant will work closely with the Cabinetmaker to assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of custom cabinets and furniture for transportation and logistics projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for woodworking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cabinetmaker in all aspects of cabinetmaking, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components
- Prepare materials for cabinet construction, including measuring, cutting, and sanding wood
- Assist in the installation of cabinets and furniture on transportation and logistics projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in woodworking or cabinetmaking
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in woodworking or cabinetmaking
