Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Aerospace and Defense sector located in Dubai. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced cabinetmakers to create high-quality cabinetry and furniture that meets the stringent requirements of the aerospace and defense industries. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the cabinetmaker in the design, fabrication, and installation of custom cabinetry and furniture for aerospace and defense applications.
- Prepare materials, including cutting, shaping, and assembling components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and ensure high-quality production standards.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Assist in the inventory management of materials and supplies, including ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to cabinetry and aerospace applications.
- Support the cabinetmaker in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or a related field, preferably within the aerospace or defense industries.
- Proficient in the use of woodworking tools and machinery, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in a workshop setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
