Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Canine Trainer to join our dynamic educational team based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of canine behavior and training techniques and will be committed to promoting positive interactions between dogs and their handlers. This role is essential in our mission to enhance the educational experience of our students, staff, and community through effective canine training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement comprehensive canine training programs tailored to various skill levels, from basic obedience to advanced training.
- Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions for dogs and their handlers, ensuring a positive and constructive learning environment.
- Assess the behavioral needs of individual dogs and develop customized training plans to address specific issues, including aggression, anxiety, and socialization challenges.
- Provide education and support to dog owners, including best practices for care, training techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and other stakeholders to integrate canine training programs into existing curricula and activities.
- Organize workshops, seminars, and demonstrations to promote canine education and responsible pet ownership within the community.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, progress reports, and evaluations for each dog and handler.
- Stay current on the latest canine training methodologies, trends, and research to ensure the highest standards of service.
- Participate in community outreach initiatives to foster awareness of the benefits of canine training and responsible pet ownership.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in canine training or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized canine training organization (e.g., CPDT, KPA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with dogs and their handlers.
- Knowledge of various training methodologies, including positive reinforcement techniques.
- Ability to handle dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding pet ownership and training in Dubai.
